Goethe ist sakrosankt der Weltrepräsentant der deutschen Dichtung. Trotzdem bleiben seine Gedichte Geschamcksache. Was für den einen das Nonplusultra an Phantasie und Genius darstellt, ist für den anderen bloß eine "Mischung aus Sauerkraut und Hinduismus". Wer sich nicht nur in poetischer Gefühlsduselei verlieren möchte, sondern sich dem Thema Goethe im Goethejahr kritisch stellen möchte, der findet hier für den Anfang einen interessanten Beitrag:
